The information and choices you gave overall were very helpful in understanding where we are and what the alternative choices are for moving forward. It's harder to make the choices I support than I thought. This is a hot mess and it will take major sacrifices in order to get the budget crisis under control. They are hard choices to make because they affect individuals, and communities. I learned that we need to make to the hard decisions when times are tough! California is a budget Challenged state. I have increased respect for the Legislature's difficult job of solving the current budget crisis. All the money and the ways that you could spend the money was an eye opener, and the most surprising thing to me was just how much money was distributed and the large portion went to education. Budgeting is fun and challenging.
