For several years Next 10 has been leading a statewide effort to better understand the growing green economy. On January 19th we are releasing the 2011 edition of our Many Shades of Green report and we would like to invite you to attend a special release briefing with Next 10, researchers, and industry leaders.

Siemens Mobility manufactures light rail vehicles for North America at its Sacramento plant, which is mainly powered by solar energy. They are a leading provider of transportation and logistics solutions, moving people and goods efficiently, safely and using green manufacturing technology. In November 2010 Siemens Mobility was awarded a $466 million contract by Amtrak to build the first U.S. electric locomotives, which will bring hundreds of new jobs to California.
